LONDON AND PALO ALTO, Calif. — 23 February 2016 — ThoughtSpot, the search-driven analytics company, today announces the opening of its first international office in London to better serve EMEA businesses that are demanding radically easier-to-use analytics for their rank and file business people. Leading the office as Head of EMEA Sales is Martin Gaffney, a IBM Netezza veteran, who previously built-out Netezza’s first EMEA operations. Gaffney will be responsible for building out the sales team and accelerating growth in the region.
“Since our launch last year in the US, demand for ThoughtSpot from EMEA has been growing rapidly. We're thrilled to now have our UK-based sales team up-and-running and being led by a world-class sales executive like Martin Gaffney. Martin built out IBM Netezza’s first EMEA operations and is uniquely qualified to build closer relationships with local customers and help accelerate our growth,” said Ajeet Singh, CEO of ThoughtSpot. “We exceeded all growth expectations last year in the U.S., and are excited to now bring our easy-to-use search-driven analytics technology to EMEA.”
Leading Fortune 500 brands in retail, financial services, telecom and healthcare are turning to ThoughtSpot’s natural language search interface to make it easier for every employee to quickly analyze their company data. “I’ve helped multiple startups launch in EMEA, including IBM Netezza, and ThoughtSpot’s entry into this market marks a first in my career; I have never seen a company enter a new region to such an overwhelming response. ThoughtSpot has quickly gained traction with a large number of companies who want to make it easy for every employee to get instant answers out of their enterprise data - all through the power and simplicity of analytical search.” said Martin Gaffney, Head of EMEA Sales. “Waiting days for reports to be built by highly trained data analysts is a dead strategy.
