ThoughtSpot Receives Prestigious Accreditation from IMDA

Companies accredited based on ability to accelerate Singapore’s technology market through technical, financial, and operational excellence

SINGAPORE — October 2, 2019 — ThoughtSpot, a leader in search and AI-driven analytics, today announced that it has been accredited by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), based on the company’s unique ability to help enterprises transform how they leverage data, make decisions, and operate their businesses.

The Accreditation@SG Digital (Accreditation@SGD) programme was launched in 2014 to accelerate the growth of tech companies with a presence in Singapore. The programme aims to help these companies win contracts with government agencies and large enterprises throughout Singapore. More than 47 organizations have been accredited, while creating more than S$429M in project pipeline for these companies.

ThoughtSpot has successfully met the stringent criteria of the Accreditation@SGD evaluation process. Companies considered for the programme are evaluated from a technical, financial and operational perspective. The accreditation period lasts for 18 months, after which companies will need to undergo a renewal process that re-evaluates the business based on the same criteria.

“Government agencies and businesses in Singapore and throughout Asia are experiencing unprecedented change as cloud, IoT, and mobile technologies go mainstream. While this systemic transformation presents challenges, its simultaneously creating incredible new opportunities for these groups if they can capitalize on them,” said Sunil Mahale, ThoughtSpot VP of APJ. “Today’s accreditation from IMDA demonstrates ThoughtSpot’s ability to help organizations in the public and private sectors not only navigate this disruption, but thrive in the modern world.”

“We welcome ThoughtSpot on board our Accreditation@SG Digital programme. As businesses in every industry look to transform how they use data, ThoughtSpot’s search and AI-driven analytics platform gives local Government and enterprises  the ability to equip anyone in their organisation with the ability to find insights and make decisions,” said Mr Edwin Low, Director of Enterprise Growth Acceleration, Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore. “With the pace of business exponentially increasing, we’re happy to work with organisations like ThoughtSpot that empower businesses with the agility they need to compete in today’s business climate.”
