Realizing Digital Transformation

In an increasingly global, competitive market, enterprises are increasingly adopting technologies like Cloud and IoT to realize the various benefits brought by Digital Transformation (DX). However, this trend has led to a drastic increase of data volume and complexity. In addition to the explosion of data, the industry has faced a pronounced  shortage of data scientists, analysts, and other data professionals. Typically, data scientists are required to create a customized report, requiring end business users had to wait for days to get answers to their data questions in the form of an analyst-created report.. In reality, this means most  companies still make important business decisions without data-driven insights. Enterprises are now facing the challenge of not being able to drive value from the vast investment made in various technology assets and tools.

Technology and Offerings

ThoughtSpot addresses these challenges with a new breed of data analytics platform that  delivers value beyond traditional BI tools. It enables business decision makers to answer their own data questions on their own by using a simple, natural language. Also, by leveraging AI and machine learning, ThoughtSpot’s SpotIQ provides insights to questions decision makers didn't even know to ask. Unlike platforms built before the explosion of data, ThoughtSpot has been specifically architected for data at scale, and can handle billions of rows of data without sacrificing performance. Therefore, it is possible to analyze full, detailed data even in cases where users traditionally had to work with aggregated/sample data.

"I am delighted to announce the establishment of the Japan office. Japanese companies are facing a serious challenge when it comes to deriving true business value out of the large amount of data stored throughout their organization. Also, the shortage of data talent in  Japanese society brings a real challenge for enterprises looking to leverage data. We are excited to support these needs and democratize data analytics for everyone." said Sudheesh Nair, CEO of ThoughtSpot Inc.

"To promote digital transformation, it is critical that business users get answers to their data questions immediately, and more importantly, make quick decisions and take actions that ensure business results based on those insights. ThoughtSpot’s search and AI-driven analytics platform can help businesses advance these initiatives by lowering the barriers for business users to directly access data and accelerate data literacy. . Our goal is to contribute to the strengthened competitiveness of Japanese companies in the global market." said Dino Mizushima, Country Manager of ThoughtSpot Japan.
