SUNNYVALE, Calif. — October 6, 2021 — ThoughtSpot, the Modern Analytics Cloud company, today announced that it has been recognized by TrustRadius with a 2021 Tech Cares Award. This second annual award celebrates companies that have gone above and beyond to provide strong Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

ThoughtSpot was recognized for CSR initiatives, including:

  • Partnering with the ‘girls + data’ organization to increase data literacy, pique interest, and provide exposure to non-coding careers in technology by making the subject of data interesting and relevant to middle and high school girls.

  • Volunteering at Mark Cuban Foundation’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Boot Camp for high school students, which introduces underserved students in grades 9 through 12 to basic AI concepts and skills. This includes hosting the Atlantic City workshop and providing guest speakers to workshops in multiple cities.

  • Rolling out the Codex patent program to spur employee innovation and creative thinking and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship for every employee.

  • Encouraging employee-led affinity groups that are dedicated to providing professional and personal growth opportunities, while promoting diversity and inclusion within the company culture.

  • Conducting a study and cohort analysis to better understand how team diversity stacks up among other startups, and subsequently launching four task forces — education & inclusion, volunteering & giving, communications, and hiring & retention — to address the specific components of having a diverse team makeup.

  • Prioritizing diverse and inclusive recruitment initiatives to ensure that hiring processes are fair and that underrepresented community members are seen and supported.
