Distinction given based on exceptional contribution to business and entrepreneurship

SUNNYVALE, California -- October 4, 2019 -- Ajeet Singh, the co-founder and executive chairman of the world’s leading search and AI-driven analytics company ThoughtSpot, today was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award of 2019 by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur for his work as an entrepreneur and business leader. The Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest honor given by the Institute to alumni in recognition of their achievements, exceptional merit, and excellence in their field.

“I’m incredibly humbled to be recognized with this prestigious award from IIT Kanpur. The time I spent at IIT Kanpur not only armed me with the knowledge and technical skills to succeed in the real world, but also taught me the power of grit and drive in achieving your goals,” said Ajeet Singh. “What’s more, I became friends with some of the brightest, most innovative people in the world at IIT. That network has been an integral piece in building to where I am today.”

Ajeet has been an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley for a decade, building two unicorn companies that have made a significant impact in the global technology market.
